What is your pre-production process?Before we start production, we set up a meeting to chat with the author about their vision, our process, and also just to meet!  We then do scratch tests for character voices, which is just a short audio file demonstrating each potential voice, and a 15 minute portion of the book for last approval, just to ensure everything is to the author’s liking before starting formally. Oh, and yeah, we read the book!What is your timeline?We generally schedule ahead about two months of production time depending on the length of the book, but normally we get it in earlier. More of a contingency plan than anything (illnesses, emergencies, etc.)And production?We both have broadcast quality, professionally vetted home studios where we record all of our books from. Once recording is finished, we contact the author to let them know we are moving on to the next phase of production.

What about post production?We also take care of the editing and mastering for your audiobook. We are both trained in audio editing, and utilize industry standard equipment (Adobe Audition, Izotope RX10) to ensure the best sounding product.I see your post on socials! Are those included?They are. :)We love connecting with our authors and their communities via socials, and just being fans of the books we work on. We tend to do a couple posts for pre and post release.Of course, we always ask for author approval before any post, and are happy to opt out of posting entirely if an author desires so.
